Aerial Yoga takes your yoga practice to new heights! The yoga hammock provides a supportive and playful experience that allows students to experience poses in new ways.
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing.
Buti yoga combines jump training (plyometrics), tribal dancing and dynamic yoga asanas into an intense workout. In Marathi, the language spoken in parts of western India, buti means "a secret remedy or cure."
Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of yoga. In Yin yoga, poses are held for a longer periods of time to strengthen and heal our fascial tissues (ligaments, tendons, fascia, and connective tissue) rather than focusing on the muscles.
Freebird's Prenatal Yoga program integrates techniques and wisdom from the fields of midwifery, doula care, and yoga to provide women with emotional, physical, and informational support. A unique feature to our Pre-and Postnatal Yoga program is that expecting mamas can bring a support person for free! Support person can be a partner, friend, family member, or doula.
Gentle Yoga provides a slower style of yoga that allows for a deeper connection to breath and alignment. Gentle classes integrate the use of props to assist students in establishing their postures.
Freebird Flow is a vinyasa style class that provides a fluid asana practice. Freebird Flow focuses on uniting breath and body through the philosophy of one movement, one breath. Our Flow classes help build strength, flexibility, and mental calmness.
Chair Yoga incorporates the use of a chair as a way to help make yoga more accessible. Using a chair helps people get into their yoga poses without the stress of getting up and down off the mat. Chair Yoga is great for those with limited mobility.
YOUTH AERIAL YOGA
Youth Aerial Yoga is for children ages 6-11 years old. Youth Aerial is a fun and dynamic practice for kids. Starting yoga early in life is helps create a healthy body, but also a healthy sense of self.
